Little Monster's Birthday Party

Little Monster lived in a big yellow house, in a long red street with marshmallow trees that you could eat. He was lying in his big wooden bed dreaming of gooey yummy chocolate cake when his alarm rang very loudly in his ear.

“Wake up,” it said, “Wake Up! Little Monster, today is your birthday and you are 5 years old. Wake Up!”

Little Monster yawned and stretched and climbed out of bed. He was very excited because he knew that today he would be able to open presents and eat gooey, yummy chocolate cake.

But when Little Monster got down stairs he could see no presents. “Oh” he thought, “Today is my birthday and this meant I could have lots of big presents and eat some gooey, yummy chocolate cake.”

Little Monster went into the living room where Dog was lying by the fire place.

“Hello dog,” said Little Monster

“Hello Little Monster,” said Dog

“Today is my birthday, have you seen my presents and gooey, yummy chocolate cake?” asked Little Monster.

Dog lifted his head very slowly and said,“No Little Monster, why don’t you ask Miss Mouse?”

So Little Monster went to find Miss Mouse who lives in the cupboard under the stairs.

He knocked on the door

“Miss Mouse, Miss Mouse, Hello? Are you in?” he said

Miss Mouse opened her tiny door with her tiny hand and in her tiny voice said,

“Hello Little Monster”

“Today is my birthday, have you seen my presents and gooey, yummy chocolate cake?” asked Little Monster.

Miss Mouse shook her tiny head and in her tiny voice said “No Little Monster, Why don’t you ask Spider if she has seen it?”

So Little Monster went to the kitchen where Spider was spinning her web.

“Hello Spider,” said Little Monster, “Hello Little Monster” said Spider.

“Today is my birthday, have you seen my presents and gooey, yummy chocolate cake?” asked Little Monster.

Spider stopped spinning her web and said “No I haven’t, why don’t you ask Froggy?”

Little Monster went out into the garden to talk with Froggy by the pond and asked Froggy,

“Today is my birthday, have you seen my presents and gooey, yummy chocolate cake?” But Froggy hadn’t seen the cake either!

Little Monster was very confused now; he was sure Alarm Clock had said it was his birthday, he had asked Dog by the fire, Mouse under the stairs, Spider in the kitchen and Froggy by the pond and no-one had seen his presents and gooey, yummy chocolate cake.
Little Monster sat on the grass by the pond and heard Mummy Monster call his name.

“Little Monster,” she shouted, “Little Monster“

Little Monster went back to the house and when opened the door from the garden he heard his friends shout:

“SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY”

Little Monster was smiling a big smile because in the middle of the room was a long table where Alarm Clock, Dog, Miss Mouse, Spider and Froggy were sat with lots of presents.

And some gooey, yummy, chocolate cake.

  2. This little monster’s birthday party theme looks quite awesome. Planning to have this theme for my nephew’s birthday party at one of venue New York. Have never arranged such themed party so need to have good ideas to figure out everything.
